About The Ranks
Alpha Male-The
male leader in the pack. Along with his mate, the Alpha Female, they must make
important decisions about the pack. All Other Ranks must listen to the Alpha
Male AND Female.
Alpha
Female- Read Alpha Male description. The Female leader in the pack.
Beta-
The Betas are second in command. They help make important decisions but never
make the final one, that is down to the Alpha pair. If the Alphas are away, for
example hunting, or meeting rival packs, the Betas will take their place until
they return. Male and Female job, only 6.
Delta- The rank below the beta. They help with
pups (along with the other members) and omegas. If they are respectful and
respected to and by higher ranks, they may be moved up to beta level. Male and
Female job, only 6.
Lead Fighters- A well respected rank, which all
pack members-including the leaders- rely on. Although the Alphas will sometimes
step into a fight, lead fighters cannot tell them what to do and how to fight
like they can the other fighters. It is rare that the Alphas will do this. Lead
Fighters will tell the other fighters when and where to attack. They are
strong, confident and brave. Only 2, 1
male, 1
female.
Fighters-
Must be a confident fighter, and must understand that losing a fight may show
weakness, the pack will understand and care for your wounds until you are
better. They must listen to the lead fighters, and if the Alpha Pair wish, they
can take the place of Lead Fighter. Only 8, 4 male, 4
female.
Patrolers- They patrol the edges of the
territory, sometimes with a fighter. If they see, hear or smell anything
strange, they must confront it, and try make it leave the territory. If a fight
begins between the patroler and stranger, and there is no fighter present, they
must give out a howl and one or both of the Alphas and a Lead Fighter will
come. Only 8, 4 male, 4 female.
Elders-
Old wolves of great wisdom, that help care for the pups, and settle them down.
They may tell old stories to the pups or the other pack members and are always
there to talk to if a pack member is confused or hurt. Only 5, any
Gender.
Lead Hunters- Leads a group of hunters,
tells them what to hunt. They Must be strong and confident in their hunting,
and avoid as much injury as possible. Two, 1 male, 1
female.
Hunters-
They hunt food for the pack. Sometimes lead by an Alpha, they are vital to the
packs health. Only 8, 4 male, 4 female.
Healers-
Vast medical knowledge, however not as vast as that of the Shaman. They have no
spiritual connections. Led by the Shaman, the job of a healer is only a job for
5. Only female.
Scouts-
Will always put their pack first in warning them and friend packs of danger. If
they only get chance to save one pack and tell them of that danger, their
loyalty always remains with their pack, their family. They visit other packs,
including rival packs. if they travel to a rival pack, a lead fighter will go
with them to ensure safety. Only 6, 3 male, 3
female.
Spy-Used
mainly when the pack feels in danger, but on rare occasions to see what enemy
packs are plotting. They must be swift, silent and have good hearing. Only 4, 2
male, 2 female.
Pup
Sitters- Must have patience and be calm. Fun to be around for the pups, but
also a strict sitter, teaching pups right from wrong as they grow. Only 5, male
or female.
Pups-
Playful as they are unwise. They require much attention and care to ensure they
don't wander off and become injured or captured. Only the Alphas may have pups,
unless other pack members have the blessing from them to have pups. Omegas are
the only rank to not get this privelage, although it is a very rare one. You
may only become a pup if a higher rank asks you. If you're the pup of an Alpha,
at th eage of 1 you will be put at any rank wanted. As many as the Alpha pair
wants.
Omegas-
The lowest rank in the pack. They get no privelages, and must look after the
pups. They are the last to eat and often sleep outside the den. Be warned, if a
pack member shows disrespect to any of the Alphas, betrays the pack-even if
they are sorry-, or anger the Alphas in any way, they can be lowered to the
rank of Omega. If you are an Omega when you join the pack, it is possible for
you to get higher ranks, through loyalty, bravery and respect. Only 6, 3 male,
3 female.
